Political Dilemmas at Work by Gary Ranker, with Colin Gautrey and Mike Phipps

Gary Ranker provides a unique service that can save a company millions of dollars through a behavioral due diligence assessment. Often when a company is acquired, financial due diligence is done, but the whole behavioral side is often overlooked.

Gary has often been asked to give advice in these situations.

One of the main things corporations have learned is that many of their acquisitions are going sour, because the culture of the acquired company is sometimes resistant to the acquisition.  It is possible to do a better job of assessing the behavioral aspects.

Even after a company is acquired, before actually merging the companies, determining the skills of the people in the acquired company and learning something about their corporate culture and their corporate politics can save millions of dollars and smooth the way to cooperative roles between companies.
